Thomas Carney, an engineer, 33 years old, died Sunday at 4 p.m. at his residence on Windsor Avenue of inflammation of the bowels, with which he was attacked last Thursday. His wife is the daughter of Charles Stafford.

Mr. Carney was engineer at the Eagle Point water works. He was the brother of Michael, James and Frank Carney, of the Illinois Central, Peter of Chicago, and Mrs. Thomas Maher, pf this city. All who knew him esteemed him highly. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Internment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
