Mrs. Mayme M. Schumacher, 93, who resided with her daughter, Rose M. Pixler, 2899 Meadowwood Drive, died at noon Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at home.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Dennis Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road, where there will be a St. Mary's Catholic Church Christian wake service at 4:15 p.m.

She was born on May 21, 1904, in Kieler, Wis., daughter of August and Mary (Jenneman) Wilhelm. She married John Schumacher on April 13, 1926, in San Diego; he died Jan. 1, 1942.

She was a member of St. Mary's Parish.

Surviving are three daughters, Anna Mae (James) Lewis, Rose M. Pixler, with whom she resided, and June L. Herzberg, all of Dubuque; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, five brothers and five sisters.
