Succumbs at Home

Mrs. Anna Connolly, 90, a lifelong resident in the vicinity of Holy Cross, did Wednesday night at 7:30 o’clock at her farm house four miles north of Holy Cross. Born on a farm at Holy Cross on Sept. 25, 1850, the daughter of Patrick and Ann Donegan , pioneer residents of that section, she attended the schools of that community. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church in Holy Cross.She was married to Terrence Connolly, who died Dec. 20, 1916.
Mrs. Connolly is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Cyrus, (Stasia) McQuillen, Holy Cross; Mrs. E L. (Susie) Stewart, Chicago; Mrs. Mile (Agnes) Sweeney and Mrs. Will (Tillie) Flynn, both of Dubuque; five sons, Tom, of Madison, S. D.; Leo, of Wagner, S. D.; William, of Buffalo, N. Y.; John J., of Portland, Ore. and Charles at home; and 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband one daughter, Loretta, preceded her in death.
Funeral arrangement have not been announced.
