A telegram received in this city this morning announced the death of Charles Kruse, who passed away yesterday in Duluth, Minn. The deceased was born and reared in this city, leaving here quite young to seek his fortunes in the north. Some months ago he contracted a severe cold which quickly developed into tuberculosis and although the best medicine aid consulted the disease had taken a firm hold and he succumb to its ravages.

The remains will arrive here tomorrow morning and will be taken to the home of his parents, 1159 Lincoln Avenue. The deceased is survived by three sisters, Mrs. D. Smith, Emma and Pauline, and five brothers, John, Frank, Herman, Albert and Willie. The announcement of the funeral will be made later.
