Mrs. Anna Jecklin, a Respected Woman
Of North Dubuque Passed
Away Sunday

Mrs. Anna Jecklin, aged 64 years, passed away Sunday morning at 9 o’clock at the family residence on Milwaukee Road. Mrs. Jecklin was born in Canton Graubünden, Switzerland , Feb. 27, 1837, coming to America in 1869, residing in this city ever since. Her husband, the late John H. Jecklin, preceded her to the grave in 1890. Previous to his death he was engaged in the dairy business, which has been carried on successfully by Mrs. Jecklin until failing health compelled her to give up the active management of affairs. Four children are left to mourn the loss of a good mother; two daughters, Mrs. R. Conrad and Mrs. Joseph Zierries, and two sons, Henry and Robert. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Immanuel Church. Undertaker Spahn will have charge.
