Passes Away Today
at Westphalia, Iowa

Word was received here today of the death at Westphalia, Iowa, this afternoon of Mrs. Katharine Blumenschenkel, a former well known resident of this city. Deceased was quite well advanced in years, and was a widow, her husband having died a few years ago. Deceased was the mother of Rev. Father Blumenschenkel of that place, who will accompany the remains to that city where they will arrive tomorrow and be taken to St. Mary’s Church where services will be held. Her son will officiate. Deceased was a noble woman, who had been his housekeeper for several years.
