A LITTLE CHILD DIES
~
MARSHALL L. PLATT, SON OF MR. AND MRS
B. L. PLATT, A VICTIM OF WHOOPING COUGH
~
The home of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Platt, on West Fourteenth Street is the scene of deep bereavement over the death of their little infant son Marshall, who passed away this forenoon. This is the first death to occur in this beautiful home in which is found everything to contribute to happiness and comfort, where this tender bud and hope of the parents was stricken with whopping couch about two weeks ago. Every effort was brought into use to save the little one, but the most zealous wishes of the parents who had hope until the last that their darling child might be saved, where doomed to disappointment this forenoon when the final summons came.
