BAGLEY, Wis. - Robert F. Hoag, 78, of Bagley, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.

A memorial visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Behr Funeral Home, Dubuque. Private family services will be held after the visitation. Inurnment will be in Linwood Cemetery, Dubuque. Thornburg-DeVries Funeral Home, Prairie du Chien, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on June 23, 1933 at Dubuque, son of Alfred and Eliza Scott Hoag.

Robert served in the Navy during the Korean War.

He married Shirley Droullard on June 12, 1954, in Dubuque.

Robert worked at the Dubuque Packing Co. from 1956 to 1982.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley, of Bagley; a son, Daniel (Annette) Hoag, of Pearland, Texas; two daughters, Diana Reed, of Richland Center, and Pamela Jahn, of Madison; two sisters, Jean (Harold) Breitsecker and Margaret Hastings, both of Dubuque; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and numerous brothers and sisters.
