Funeral services for F. M. Van Valkenburg were held at the family residence, 420 Bradley Street Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.

Dr. H. D. Atchison, pastor of St. Luke’s M. E. Church conducted the services. Two beautiful hymns were sung by Mrs. Mildred Holmes and Mrs. A. Henniger, accompanied by Miss Helen Stuber. Burial was made in Linwood Cemetery.

A large crowd attended the funeral and there were many beautiful floral arrangements.

Pallbearers were E. L. Meisch, William Ferris, Robert E. Twaites, John Lange, Frank Le Grand and Fred Spielmen.

The loss of Mr. Van Valkenburg will be keenly felt by his numerous friends and acquaintances. His heart was filled with kindness. Quick as he was in merriment, as quick was he in sympathy. He mourned sincerely with all those who felt the weight of grief.

In the relations of his business life he was honorable. Devoted to family and friends, dutiful in respect to all his obligations, he leaves a memory that will be cherished by all who knew contact with his wholesome spirit.
