Mrs. Francis Fessler 66 widow of Raymond J. Fessler, of 1490 Dodge, died at 7 P.M. Saturday at Mercy Hospital. Friends may call Monday at The Hoffman Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held at 9 A.M. Wednesday at the Church of the Nativity. The Rev.Thomas Braak will officiate at the Requiem High Mass. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
She belonged to the Nativity Guild, Xavier Guild, Visitation Associates, past president and organizer of the Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
She was born at Dubuque daughter of Michael and Mary Cahill and lived here all her life.
She was employed at Loras College.
Her husband Raymond J. Fessler preceded her in death in 1957.
Surviving are two sons Joseph R.and Raymond F. Fessler both of Dubuque,one daughter Mrs.Francis(Elaine) Noonan of Dubuque. nine grandchildren, three brothers Michael Cahill of Dubuque,Martin Cahill of Dubuque, John Cahill of Dubuque, three sisters Mrs.Alfred W.(Susan) Kronfeldt of Dubuque,Mrs.Anthony(Genevieve)Chihak of Milwaukie and Mrs.Harry(Elizabeth)Welter of Dubuque.]St.Mary's Circle, Catholic Mother's Study Club will meet at Hoffman Mortuary at 8 P.M. Monday to recite the Rosary. Members of Nativity Parish and its Rosary Society will meet at the Hoffman Mortuary at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday.
