WORTHINGTON, Iowa - Services for Esther C. Lasche, 86, of Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade, formerly of Worthington, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Worthington. The Rev. Mark Osterhaus will officiate.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be an altar and rosary society rosary at 4 p.m., and a parish scripture service at 6 p.m.
She was born on March 27, 1910, in Worthington, daughter of Henry and Genevieve (Ressler) Fiedler. She died after a long illness Thursday, Dec. 12, 1996, at Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade.

She married Richard Lasche on Feb. 10, 1930, in Worthington. Together they farmed in the Worthington area and she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the St. Paul's Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving are two daughters, Norma Shady, of Worthington, and Marilyn (Eldon) Pins, of Hopkinton; two sisters, Regina Rink and Henrietta Kasel, both of Dubuque; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband on July 3, 1984; four sisters; two brothers; a granddaughter; and a step-grandson.
