Mary Stecklein, 90, died at the home of her son, John, 2937 Burlington Street, at 8:20 o’clock Thursday morning. Funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning at SS. Peter and Paul’s Church Sherrill and burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Stecklein was born in Luxemburg, Europe, and came to this country with her parents at the age of nine years and has lived in Dubuque County ever since. She was married to Joseph Stecklein at Sherrill over 70 years ago and lived on a farm near Sherrill until 10 years ago when she moved to Dubuque.

Her husband, two sons and two daughters, preceded her in death. She is survived by four sons, Philip, John and Peter of Dubuque and Nicholas of Balltown, and two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Schoendorff of Dubuque and Mrs. Catherine Schmall of Chicago.
