Widow of Michael Pline

Bankston’s oldest resident and one of Dubuque County’s oldest citizen died Tuesday when death claimed Mrs. Mary Jane Pline, 92 years old, at her home in Bankston.

Mrs. Pline, the widow of Michael Pline, was a farm resident of Iowa Township in Dubuque County for 85 years.

Mrs. Pline was born in New York and came with her parents when she was seven years of age.

The funeral services will be held at St. Clement’s in Bankston on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. The burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Pline was a member of St. Clements parish and was identified with the Rosary Society of that church.

She is survived by four sons; Peter of Farley, John of Bankston, Joseph of Portland, Ore., and Daniel of Grand Forks, N.D., and one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Hurley of Waterloo.
