CALLED BY DEATH

Death claimed Mrs. Mary J. Trew Friday morning at 10:30 o’clock at the residences of her nieces, Misses Catherine and Julia Mullen, 31 Air Hill Street, after an illness attributed to the infirmities of old age.

Mrs. Trew was born in County Cork, Ireland on November 9, 1834, and came to America when a little girl. She was numbered among the pioneer residents of this community, having spent the greater part of her life.

She leaves to mourn her loss one brother, James J. Welsh, of Masonville, Ia., and a number of nieces and nephews. She was priced in death by her husband who passed away twelve years ago and by a daughter Miss Anna Trew, who died last September.

It is requested that flowers be omitted. The burial will be private.
