A MOTHER PASSES AWAY

WIDOW OF LATE EDWARD
SEELEY GOES TO REWARD

Mrs. Anna Seeley, widow of the late Edward Seeley, died at Mercy Hospital; Saturday morning at 6 o’clock after an illness of one month.

The deceased, whose maiden name was Miss Ann Powers, was born in Shullsburg, Wis., in the year 1870. Thirteen years ago she was united in marriage when Edward Seeley of this city and since that time has made Dubuque her home. Her husband preceded her in death less than two years ago. Three small children, John, William and Carmelita, are left to face life’s battles, fatherless and motherless. She is survived by her father, living at Shullsburg, Wis., two brothers and two sisters, John of Butte, Montana, Thomas, of New Diggings, Wis., Mrs. John Lacey, of Seymour, Wis., and Mrs. Wm. Jordan of Lincoln, Ill.

Mrs. Seeley was an affectionate mother and a kind and charitable neighbor. She was a member of the Cathedral parish and of the Ladies Auxiliary of the M. O. H.

The funeral will be held Monday morning at 8 o’clock from the family residence, 242 Bluff Street, to the Cathedral. The internment will take place at Mt. Olivet.
