JACOB HEIM IS
TAKEN BY DEATH

Jacob Heim, well known in this city and a reiedt onsf Dubuque County, for the past fifty-two years, died at the family home in North Dubuque this morning at 9 o’clock after an illness of two years. He was born in Baden, German seventy-seven years ago and came to Dubuque in 1868.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Louis Peil, Mrs. Robert Specht, and Mrs. Frank Welte, a son Jacob Heim, fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild all of this city. His wife died six months ago. Mr. Heim who was a very devout member of the Catholic Church died comforted by the rights of that religion. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Holy Ghost Church.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the home to Holy Ghost Church at 9 o’clock. The funeral procession will leave the home at 8:30 o’clock. Interment will be made in Mt. Calvary.
