Theresa K. Adams, 49, of 1104 White St., passed away at 10:08 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Ennoble Skilled Nursing & Rehab.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Immanuel Congregation of United Church of Christ, 1795 Jackson St., with Pastor Karen Candee officiating. To celebrate Theresa's life, friends may visit after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery following cremation. Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

Theresa was born on July 30, 1963, in Dubuque, daughter of Daniel and Mary (Malone) Parker.

She worked for Betty Jane's Candy and Dubuque Nursing and Rehab as a CNA.

Theresa enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool and darts. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Allen R. Adams and Daniel Y. Adams, both of Dubuque; her daughter, Bobbie Jo (Brandon) Rondeau, of Dubuque; a daughter-in-law, Andrea Adams, of Dubuque; nine grandchildren; her boyfriend, Kriss Hill, of Dubuque; her siblings, Sally Perry, of Richland Center, Wis., Rosie (Steve) Huseman, of Bernard, Iowa, David Parker, of Andrew, Iowa, Bill Parker and Jane (Ron) Francois, both of Dubuque, Joan Streets and Aggie (LR) Gnade, both of Andrew, Iowa; her foster sister, Marlene Carver, of Center Point, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jacob Adams; two sisters, Betty Parker and Madonna Parker; and a brother, Bob Parker.

A Theresa K. Adams Memorial Fund has been established.
