Services for Helen D. Becker, 94, of Bethany Home, formerly of 414 Raymond Place, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Raphael's Cathedral, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Her body was donated to the University of Iowa Medical School, Iowa City. The Ed Siegert-Al Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Dec. 16, 1902, in Dubuque, daughter of Henry C. and Emily E. (Hogan) Becker. She died at 4:44 a.m. Friday, July 18, 1997, at The Finley Hospital.

Miss Becker was an educator, having been a teacher and counselor in the Detroit (Mich.) school system for many years; followed by educational duties with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Dubuque. She received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Iowa, and a master's degree from Wayne State University, Detroit.

"Helen was well known and appreciated for her astute advice and counsel to younger people who sought her help."

Surviving are two sisters, Florence Libs, of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Virginia (Jean) Werner, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a brother, Francis H. Becker, of Des Moines; and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to St. Raphael's Cathedral and Bethany Home.
