Martha M. "Marty" Bousselot O'Neal, 73, of 1378 J Ave. NE, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, in ManorCare Health Services due to complications of Alzheimer's disease and pneumonia. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, St. Pius X Catholic Church, by the Rev. Phil Gibbs. Burial: 2 p.m. Monday, Calvary Cemetery, Cascade. A vigil service begins at 7 p.m. Sunday at Teahen Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday.

Survivors include her husband, Edward; a stepdaughter, Barbara (Bill) Norris of Cedar Rapids; two stepsons, Robert O'Neal and Steven O'Neal, both of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Agnes Walske of Hazel Green, Wis., Veronica Leneberg of Cascade and Dorothy Lester of Dubuque; and a brother, Paul Takes of Cascade.

Also surviving are many nieces and nephews; 16 stepgrandchildren; and 16 stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; a brother; and two sisters.

Born March 23, 1925, in Kennebec, S.D., to William J. and Sarah Peiffer Takes, she married William Bousselot on Feb. 12, 1956, in Rock Island, Ill. He died in 1979. She married Edward O'Neal on Aug. 29, 1986, in Cedar Rapids. She was an inspector for Rockwell for 29 years, retiring in 1985. Marty was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and Bereavement Group.

Marty loved God and all her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial fund has been established.
