Aged Resident Dies

Gilbert Collinson, aged 70 years, a native of Cumberland, England, died at Mercy Hospital Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Deceased resided at the J. L. Hurd home, 691 Delhi Street. Mr. Collinson recently underwent a serious operation for an old infection on one of his limbs which was amputated in an effort to save his life. However, he never rallied from the effects of the shock and succumbed.

The funeral will be held from McCaffery’s Funeral Chapel to St. Anthony’s Church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Interment at Center Grove Cemetery.
