James P. Sullivan, who had been ailing for three years, was taken by death at a local hospital.

The remains are at the Hoffmann Chapel, where they may be viewed tomorrow afternoon. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon from the Hoffmann Chapel, corner Fifth and Central Avenue, to the cathedral at 3:30 o'clock. Internment will be made in the cemetery at the Monastery.

The requiem mass will be read in the Cathedral Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock.

Mr. Sullivan was born in Dubuque County, March 10, forty-seven years ago, and has always resided in this community. For many years he had been employed by Henry Young at the C.O.D. Laundry.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ellen M. Brewer, and Mrs. Sarah Lyon, both of this city. Being a Catholic, he was strengthened at the last hour by the rites of that religion.
