Dyersville, Ia. - SPECIAL: Funeral services for George M. Steger, 78, were held here Thursday at St. Francis Church with the Rev. J. B. Herbers, pastor, celebrating the requiem mass. The Rev. Vincent Hoverman was deacon; the Rev. Nestor Goedken, sub-deacon; and the Rev. Richard Krapfl, master of ceremonies. Burial was in the church cemetery.

The pallbearers were: Palmer Vickers, Raymond Wilhelm, Peter Henkels, Ralph Willenborg, Dr. W. A. McVane, and Longinus Kramer.

Mr. Steger was killed Monday when the automobile in which he was riding was struck by a Great Western motor train at a local crossing.
