PIONEER PASSES AWAY

James Murray, Aged Resident of Cascade, Expires at His Home

James Murray, one of the oldest residents of Dubuque county, passed away at his home in Cascade Saturday morning at 2 o'clock, aged 82 years.

Mr. Murray was a native of Ireland, but emigrated to America when a young man. For fifty-eight years he had been a resident of Dubuque county and was for many years one of its most influential and properous farmers. He retired from farming several years ago and since that time had lived in Cascade.

He is survived by a widow and one son, Albert, and three daughters, Mrs. Michael Finn, Mrs. Frank O'Brien and Miss Josie Murray. The funeral will occur Monday morning at Cascade.
