Following close upon a paralytic stroke, the death of Mrs. John Lowry occurred Thursday evening at 6:30 at the home of her daughter Mr. Henry Baule, 905 Clay Street. Mrs. Lowry had been in the best of health, and her untimely demise comes as a distinct shock and deep regret to hosts of friends.

Mary Lowry was born in Ireland and came to Dubuque when a very young girl, and has lived here ever since.

She is survived by one son and five daughters besides her husband. The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the late residence, 840 Dodge Street, to St. Columbkille’s Church at 9 o’clock, and internment will take place at Mt. Olivet.
