Miss Kathryn Ellen Keefe died Saturday night at 9:30 o’clock at the family home, 1652 Washington, after a four year illness.

She was born in Concord Township, Dubuque County, the daughter of John and Jane Keefe, pioneers of this section. She lived in this country all of her life and in Dubuque for more than forty years.

She is survived by three sisters, June, Elizabeth and Agnes at home; two brothers, William at home and John in Chicago, and four nieces, Sister Mary Seraphina, BVM., Clarke College; Mabel M. Keefe, Dubuque; Lucille K. Keefe, Washington, D.C., and Suzanne Keefe Chicago.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Parish and belonged to the Rosary Society and the Legion of the Sacred Heart.

The funeral will be held Tuesday morning from the home to St. Patrick’s Church at 9 o’clock. Burial will be in St. Philomena’s Cemetery.
