MRS. MONICA CLEMENS

Mrs. Monica Clemens, the former Monica Gansemer, 69, of 1725 Hamblin Court, died Saturday afternoon at Mercy Medical Center. Her husband Wilfred died in 1949.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 2 to 10 Monday at Haudenshield De Wachter Funeral Home, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s parish.

Mrs. Clemens was born in Durango, Ia. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church’s Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Monica) Locher, Mrs. James (Margaret) Becker, Miss Evelyn Clemens, all of Dubuque, Mrs. Ernest (Mary) Skraby of Chicago, Mrs. Wayne (Helen) Gjerde of Osage, Iowa, and Mrs. Edward (Cynthia) Krueger of Appleton, Wis.; one son Robert of Dubuque; 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
