CARNEY

Maggie, the eldest daughter of Michael Carney, night watchman at the Illinois Central yards, died Saturday morning in Chicago. She went to that city about four months ago for treatment and an operation was found necessary, at which her mother and sister were present. At first she improved but later declined rapidly till the end came.

She was a native of this city, a most worthy and estimable young lady who’s many friends will regret her death very much.

She is survived by her parents, three sister; Julia, Gertrude and Sarah, and three brothers, Edward and Peter of this city and Joseph, of Chicago.

The funeral will take place this morning at 9 o’clock from the family residence, 312 W. Locust Street, to St. Patrick’s Church. Burial at Key West.
