FRED BURDT

Frederick Burdt, aged 92 years, one of Dubuque’s oldest settlers and contractors, died Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the residence of his granddaughter, Mrs. George Bock, 2203 Couler Avenue.

He was a man highly esteemed by all who knew or had dealings with him. He was the father of Fred and Chris Burdt.

Funeral will be held from the residence on Couler Avenue this afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
