MRS. C. L. ANDERSON
CALLED TO REWARD
~
PASSES AWAY SUNDAY MORNING
AT 9 O'CLOCK AFTER LINGERING
ILLNESS.
~
Mrs. C. L. Anderson was summoned to her eternal reward Sunday morning at 9 o'clock at the family residence, 1045 Grandview Avenue. Her death terminated an illness which had lingered over a year, which she bore with uncomplaining patience.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Dubuque forty one years ago, and had made this city her home throughout her life. Sixteen years ago, after Miss Eleanor H. Savary, she was united in marriage to Charles Anderson, who is left to mourn her loss, with one child, Herbert.

She is also survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. George Savary of this city; five sisters Mrs. L. J. Whelan, Mrs. William Allendorf, Mrs. Frank Mullen, and Mrs. Anthony Schaffert all of Dubuque, and Mrs. Will Smith of Seattle, Washington; also six brothers; Charles, Leon, Louis and Harry Savary of this city, Howard Savary of Woensocket, S. Dakota and Fred Savary of San Jose, California.

The deceased was a devote and faithful Catholic throughout her life attending St. Columbkilles parish. She was a member of the League of Sacred Heart of that church, and was a member of St. Vincent alumnae Association. The usually cheerful temperament won for her the sincere affection of many friends and her loss will be genuine sorrow to all that know her. The funeral will be held Tuesday.
