Maximus O. Stephenson, infant son of Kira and Rick Stephenson, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 21, at

St. Raphael's Cathedral, 231 Bluff St. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa.

Maximus was born on Nov. 3, 2012, in Dubuque.

Affectionately called "MO," Max had a beautiful smile that could light up the room. He was a curious baby with an amazing heart and a great attention span. He adored his big brother, Gage, who was his best friend, protector and playmate. Max was destined to be a singer; his pitch was perfect and he loved to sing with those in his company.

Maximus is loved by his parents, Kira and Rick Stephenson and his big brother, Gage Stephenson, all of Dubuque; his grandparents, Nancy and Stephen Dague, of Dubuque, and Rick and Brenda Stephenson, of Albany, Ore.; his aunts and uncles, David "Quincy" Farber and Keith (Michelle) Dague, both of Dubuque, Annie (Mark) Feldmann, of Phoenix, Ronnie Stephenson, of Albany, Ore, and his great-grandfather, Ron Stephenson, of Albany.
