WORTHINGTON, Iowa - Gladys M. Jaeger, 89, of Worthington, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Monticello Nursing & Rehab Center.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 15, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley, where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Farley. The Rev. Michael Schueller will be officiating. Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on June 10, 1924, in Worthington, daughter of Alfred and Alma (Klein) Tobin. She married Gerald Robert Jaeger on Feb. 3, 1942, in Farley; he preceded her in death on May 24, 1977.

Surviving are her four children, Jackie (Dan) Conrad, of Cascade, Roger Jaeger, of Prairie du Chein, Wis., June Goerdt, of Dyersville, and Paul Jaeger, of Worthington; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Darlene (Carey) Ahlers, of Worthington, Shirley Rave, of Farley, and Margie Althoff, of Manchester.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Del Rose (Ernest) Ostwinkle, Alfred (Anna Mae) Tobin Jr., and Sylvester Tobin; in-laws, Clarence Althoff, Gilbert Rave, Forest (Clara) Jaeger, and Doris (Leo) Ostwinkle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
