EARLVILLE, Ia. -- Services for Mrs. William E. Schwendinger, 68, Earlville, who died at 1:30 p.m. Friday at her residence after an extended illness, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Church in Earlville. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Farley.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sanner Funeral Home.
Mrs. Schwendinger was born on September 17, 1887, in Farley, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elmeda Becker Kofmehl. She was married on April 21, 1909, in St. Joseph Church in Farley. She resided in Farley until moving to Earlville a year and a half ago. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Earlville and was affiliated with its guild.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Miss Irene Schwendinger, Springfield, Mo.; Mrs. Earl (Doris) Kehrie, Manchester, Ia., and Miss Irma Schwendinger, Earlville; three sons, Francis and Gerald, both of Farley and Raymond of Delhi, Ia.; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Clara) Wiesner, Winthrop, Ia., and two brothers, Charles Kofmehl, Lead, S. D., and William Kofmehl, Springfield, Mo.
