Death of a Nonogenarian
Mrs. Mary McLean, wife of Daniel McLean, deceased, died Monday morning at the residence of her son-in-law, Martin Burns, at Asbury, in Dubuque township, aged 90 years.

Her maiden name was Connolly. She was a native of County Down, Ireland. She came to this country in 1853. She was the mother of five children, three sons and two daughters.

The surviving children are Michael of Yankton, Dak., Mrs. Ann Finnigan, also of Yankton, and Mrs. Burns.

The funeral is elsewhere announced.

Mrs. McLean, until enfeebled by age, was a woman of remarkable industry and by this and her many deeds of kindness she earned the serenity which accompanied her decline.

McLean - At the residence of her son in-law, Mr. Martin Burns, at Asbury, Dubuque township, in this county, on Monday, May 14, 1888, at 8:30 a.m., Mrs. Mary McLean, wife of Daniel McLean, deceased, aged 90 years.

Funeral tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 9:30 o'clock, from the late residence at Asbury. Services at St. Philomena church. Burial at St. Philomena cemetery. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
