Evelyn Klaren,94, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1997, in Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade, after a lengthy illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lamont, by the Rev. Dennis Juhl. Burial: St. Paul's Cemetery, Worthington. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Fawcett Funeral Home, Lamont, where a Scripture service begins at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne of Worthington and Darryl of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; a daughter, Mary Lee Wessels of Dundee; and a brother, LaVern Oelfke of Rochester, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Margaret Hiner Gaerhart, her husband Leo; one infant daughter Jean; one son Gerald; two brothers George and Paul; and one sister Alta.
