Fritz Wels, for many years a resident of these parts, was found dead in his abode at Lore at an early hour on Tuesday morning. J.B. Wels, a son, made the discovery.

The deceased was 89 years of age and had lived in this section for the past sixty years. He led the life of a recluse and spent most of his time alone. His sudden death is pronounced due to old age. He leaves only one son, J.B.

Coroner Ryan has been summoned to take charge of the case.
