On Saturday morning, the remains of the man found floating in the Mississippi near Nine Mile island Thursday night, were buried in a nameless grave in Linwood, Coroner Ryan having charge of the interment. The coroner states that although the body was badly disfigured, he is certain it is the stranger who was drowned a week ago near the I.C. round house. He is a man between five and six feet in height and with auburn hair. A further description of the body is not possible.
