Mrs. Magdalena Schiel

Mrs. Magdalena Schiel, 86, formerly of 613 Lincoln Ave., died at 4:15 a.m. Saturday at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, Ill.

She was the widow of Ben Schiel, who died in 1946.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday at Behr's.

Mrs. Schiel was born in North Buena Vista, Ia. She was a member of the Rosary Society of Sacred Heart Parish and Third Order of St. Francis and a past member of the Xavier Hospital Guild.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Bernice) O'Reilly of Seminole, Fla., and Mrs. Merlin (Anna Mae) Kingsley of Arlington Heights; two sons, Frank J. of Arlington Heights and Eldon E. of Dubuque; a foster sister, Mrs. Adeline Beyer of Dubuque; a brother, Martin Hefel of Dubuque, and eight grandchildren and five great-children.

The Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Monday.
