DEGGENDORF

In St. Louis, Mo., Saturday, September 18, of typhoid fever, Charles Deggendorf, aged 23 years. Mr. Deggendorf was well known in this city, where three of his brothers reside. He was employed in Williams' and Potter's store, afterwards as an accountant in the German Savings Bank, remaining some eighteen months; then went to St. Louis about three years ago. His excellent business qualifications and popularity with all classes, secured him a situation as assistant treasurer of the City of St. Louis, which position he held at the time of his death.
