Elgin Echo, Thursday, 01 November 1906.

A thirteen-year old boy named Wilbur Schilling was electrocuted in Dubuque at 8:30 o'clock last Friday evening. He had found a piece of telephone wire and threw it over an electric arc line and the entire voltage of the circuit passed through his body, killing him instantly.
