Yvonne D. Nauman, age 73, of Sherrill, IA, passed away at 1:55 a.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013, at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 5131 Sherrill Road, with Rev.
Raymond A. Burkle officiating. To celebrate Yvonne's life friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 5131 Sherrill Road. Burial will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Behr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Yvonne was born on August 19, 1939, in Balltown, IA, daughter of Leonard and Mildred (Brimeyer) Schroeder.

Yvonne married Gerald Nauman on July 26, 1958. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1986. She was formerly employed at Sageville School, Four Seasons and The Barn. Yvonne was currently employed at Eichman's in the convenient store/hostess. She loved tending to the flowers in her yard and feeding the birds. Yvonne enjoyed decorating her house for all of the "Hallmark holidays." She was a member of the Ss. Peter and Paul Church and the Rosary Society. Yvonne was also a former member of the Sherrill City Council and the Dubuque County Conservation Board. Her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

1 great-granddaughter,
Evelyn Dani Kress,

and many nieces and nephews.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son Daniel Nauman on December 10, 2011.

In lieu of flowers a Yvonne D. Nauman memorial fund has been established.
