THOMAS McARTHUR

Thomas McArthur 86, of Cascade, died at his home at 6:15 p. m., Monday evening, March 15, 1943. Mr. McArthur, was born in Ireland on Sept. 10, 1856 and was married to Bridget Coohey, Nov. 4, 1903. He located at Bernard and followed his occupation of blacksmith. Surviving are his widow and their three daughters: Mrs. Louis Dolphin, Cascade, Mrs. Eldon Driscoll, Dubuque and Agnes at home, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Joseph, one grandson, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held this morning at 9 a. m at St. Martin's church with burial in Calvary cemetery. Rev. Farrell officiated at the services.

Casket bearers were John McLees, Henry Doud, Chris Resseler, Thos. Lowham, John Kedley and Harry Manternach.
