RITA R. AMBROSY

Rita R. Ambrosy, 48, of 13989 Higginsport Road, Bernard, died Sunday, November 30, 2003, in Weirsdale, Florida, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident with her fiance, Robert "Bob" Link, who also died in the accident.

Services were held Friday, December 5, 2003 at Nativity Catholic Church. Burial was held in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West. Rita was born May 13, 1955, in Dubuque, daughter of John and Helen (McDonnell) Payne. She graduated from Dubuque Senior high school in 1973.

Surviving are a daughter, Johanna (Scott) Schuessler of St. Louis; two sons, Joseph (fiancee Angela Gregorich) Ambrosy, of Potosi, Wisconsin and Johnie (special friend, Natolie Hochhausen) Ambrosy of Madison, Wisconsin; four sisters, Mary (Charlie) Johnson, Ellen (Dave) Willis and Sheila (Larry) Blatz, all of Dubuque and Ann (Jack) Ginter of LeMars; five brothers, Jerry (Bea) Payne, Bill (Karen) Payne and Ray (Colleen) Payne, all of Dubuque, Jack (Betty) Payne of Riverside, California and Tim (Myra) Payne of Fullerton, California; nieces and nephews and former husband, Kenneth Ambrosy of Potosi.
