Teresa D. Wagner, 79 of Dubuque passed away at 6:20pm Sunday September 16th, 2012 at home surrounded by her family.

Services will be at 10:00a.m. Friday September 21, 2012 at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church with Rev. Gabriel Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Dubuque Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 7 on Thursday September 20th at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Rd where there will be a wake service at 4pm.

Teresa was born on March 5, 1933 in Key West, IA the daughter of John "Pete" and M. Camille (O'Hea) Hilkin.

She married Paul E. Wagner on June 1, 1957 at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2011. Teresa helped Paul work at W&W Roller Rink and Eagle Point Fun Land. She also worked for Brown Publishing, the former Dubuque Packing Co., Iron Kettle Deli and finally as a housekeeper at St. Columbkille's Church rectory. She enjoyed going to the track, her Sunday night dinner at her daughter Judy's home, and visiting her son and his family at Hi Banks Resort in Duluth, Minn. But most of all she loved and adored her granddaughters.

She is survived by her daughter - Judy (Rick) Blasen, and their daughter - Whitney, all of Dubuque, a son Tim (Kim) Wagner, and their daughters - Brittany, Bridget and Bryanna, of Duluth, MN. Foster son - Walter "Wes" Harrison, of Dubuque, one sister, Marguerite "Peg" (Mel) Vyerberg, of Dubuque, two sisters-in-law, Madonna "Donna" O'Brien, of Dubuque, Rosemary Hudson, of Coopersville, MI, Ann O'Hea, of Dubuque, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins, and especially her niece Barb (Dave) Beidler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and siblings; Delbert Hilkin, Mary Catherine Hilkin and Jerry O'Hea.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Dubuque especially Angela, Anji and Jennie, to Dr. Christine Sinsky and her nurses and staff, and the nurses and staff of Mercy Medical Center especially Dr. Schultz for all the wonderful care and kindness they gave to Teresa.
