CASCADE, Iowa - Joseph "Joe" Dehner, 67, of 511 Tyler St. SE, Cascade, died at 11:28 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, at home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, with the Rev. Daniel Krapfl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cascade, where there will be a flag presentation by the Cascade American Legion Post 528. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where there will be a wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Dehner was a truck driver for Bob Tauke Trucking in Cascade until his retirement.

He was born on Feb. 20, 1936, in Cascade, son of Arthur and Frances (Wilhelm) Dehner.

He received his education in the Cascade area schools. He was an Army veteran.

Surviving are a stepson, Pat (Sheila) Finn, of Cascade; three grandchildren, Toni, Danni and Buck Finn, all of Cascade; and his constant companion, his dog, Rocky.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
