SAGEVILLE, Iowa - Mrs. William H. (RoseAnne Bryson) Proto, 51, of Granada Gardens Trailer Park, 11980 Sherrill Road, Sageville, formerly of Hazel Green, Wis., died Saturday evening, June 21, 2003, at home.

Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hazel Green (Wis.) Cemetery. The Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Dec. 21, 1951, in Paducah, Ky., daughter of Stanley and Delpha (Chadwick) Bryson. She married William H. Proto in 1984, in Dubuque.

She was an avid gardener and a bird lover. Rose was gifted with a beautiful voice, and she enjoyed singing. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed their times together.

Surviving are her husband, William H. Proto; two daughters, Trish A. (Robert) Palomo, of Warrensburg, Mo., and Lacy D. (Dean) Ralph, of Savanna, Ga.; a son, Michael P. (Aimee) Rehkop, of Oregon City, Ore.; seven grandchildren; her mother, Delpha Toney, of Platteville; her father, Stanley Bryson, of Dubuque; grandmother, Edith M. Chadwick, of Hazel Green; a sister, Betty June Nelson, of Arvada, Colo.; three brothers, Vernon S. Bryson, David N. (Jackie) Bryson and Virgil S. Bryson, all of Hazel Green; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Virgil Chadwick; and an aunt, Bonnie Chadwick Amin.
