Mildred E. Blosch, 81, of 2000 West 3rd St., died Sunday, April 20, 2003, at home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Siegert-Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where there will be a parish scripture wake service at 5:30 p.m.

She was born on Jan. 29, 1922, in Dubuque, daughter of LeRoy and Alice (Hervec) Treanor. She married Harvey Blosch on Jan. 29, 1947.

She was born and raised in Dubuque and graduated from Dubuque Senior High School.

Mildred was a homemaker and a charter member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. She loved spending time with her family and was extremely proud of her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She enjoyed playing euchre with her family and cherished receiving roses from her husband, Harvey.

Surviving are her husband, Harvey, of Dubuque; a son, H. Gary (Renee) Blosch, of Peosta, lowa; grandchildren, G. Michael (Melinda) Blosch and Nicole Blosch, both of Dubuque, and Ashley and Alexis Blosch, both of Peosta; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Blosch, of Dubuque; a niece, Diane Bowman, of East Dubuque, Ill.; and a nephew, Ronald Hansen, of East Dubuque.

She was preceded in death by a brother, LeRoy, and a sister, Dorothy Hansen.

A Mildred E. Blosch Memorial Fund has been established.
