DYERSVILLE, Iowa - JoAnn (Nebel-Huberty) Andrews, 66, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Dyersville, died Friday, March 21, 2003, at Woodside Hospice in Florida, following a brief illness.

Services were held in Clearwater, Fla. A local memorial service is pending.

She was born on Feb. 27, 1937, in Dubuque, daughter of Clarence "Jake" and Catherine Nebel.

Before moving to Florida in 1980, she resided in Dyersville with her family. The pride and joy of her life were her children and grandchildren.

She retired from the Pinellas County School District, where she worked for 15 years. She was the former president of the Pilot Club of Pinellas County, an international women's service club.

Surviving are her husband, Jay Andrews; her sons, Charlie (Ann) Huberty, of Dyersville, Terry (Sue) Huberty, of Clearwater, and Randy (Paula) Huberty, of Pinellas Park, Fla.; a sister, Mary Lou (Verlan) Larmore, of Dubuque; and a brother, James (Diane) Nebel, of Yuma, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren, Jake, Kellie, Sara, Kyle, Ashleigh, Randy and Cory.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert A. Huberty.
