On the 30th inst., Mrs. Sarah Evens, consort of Mr. Abraham Evens, in the 50th year of her age.

She had been afflicted with a disease of the lungs for about three weeks, during which time she bore the suffering of her condition with a christian spirit. The deceased was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church - was universally respected - and leaves a large circle of friends, relatives and acquaintances to mourn her decease.
