Turon Clifford Shireman 58, Rt. 1, died at 5 p.m. Sunday at the University Hospitals, Iowa City, Ia., after an extended illness.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Haudenshield Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with burial in the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery, Cassville, Wis. Friends are asked to omit flowers.

Mr. Shireman was born Oct. 29, 1894, at Richland Center, Wis. and came to Dubuque in 1905. He was employed for 12 years by the Farley and Loescher Manufacturing Co., retiring four years ago.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. LeNora Wilmot Shireman; four sons, Robert and George Shireman,
both of Dubuque; Richard Shireman, Rockford, Ill., Edward Shireman, San Francisco, Calif.;
two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Margaret) Cox, Dubuque, and Mrs. William (Arlene) Blake, Jr.,
Newport News, Va.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Harry (Jean) Valandingham and Mrs. Ray (Ramona)
Yambura, both of Dubuque; a stepson, Robert Lynn, Dubuque; a brother, Donald Shireman,
Sacremento, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Shirley) Hedrick, New Orleans, La., and 19
grandchildren.

His first wife, parents, an infant son, two brothers and a sister preceded him.
