Robert Lucas-

Ex-Governor Robert Lucas expired at his residence near Iowa City, on the 7th inst., in the 73rd year of his age. He was twice elected Governor of Ohio, and was the first Territorial Governor of Iowa. For many years he was an influential member of the Democratic Party, but in the recent Presidential election his support was given to the Whig candidate.
